An important addition was made to this year's pep section at home games. Featured was a stronger than ever parents' section for all of Borah's supporters. Pep Clubbers painted signs for spirit raising and displayed them throughout the halls, and then, for pre-game spirit-raising, conducted Pep assemblies and deco- rated the homes of basketball, foot- ball, wrestling, and other Borah ath- letes. They also made it mandatory not only to attend athletic events, but included Drama, Music, and other cultural events in their agenda. Prob- ably the most remembered Pep Club sponsored event this year was the annual Pep Club Formal where Rich Gross was crowned King. Good old Rock and Roll was the theme of this year's Homecoming dance sponsored by Key Club. Also conducted during Homecoming week was a Slave Sale which netted S70. The traditional car caravan which paraded down to the Borah-Caldwell game contained a record breaking amount ol cars. The marquee in front of the School was changed every Monday by Key Clubbers. Other projects, headed by President Don Coberly, were ringing bells for Salvation Army, and repaint- ing and redecorating the gym stage. ..,-is - 1+ 'fsiffif '45 wh Pep Clubbers painted various signs and posters and displayed them in the halls before gam Margaret Van Houten.
