Home Economics classes journeyed to Washago, Washing- ton, to watch the making of world-famous Pendleton woolens. MVS- DUNS Cafpefi Comempofafl' Faml'Y' They also visited the Milwaukee Mill in Pendleton during a trip to Portland for further fabric observation. Leading a double life was customary for Mr. Vern Swain, new choir director. On Fridays he entertained at the Sandpi- per: he used to sing with the Christy Minstrels. The marching band again took Southern Idaho Conference Sweepstakes Award under the direction of Mr. James Perkins. Cooking several thousand tasty meals each week was the task of the cooks.
