Spotlightlng focused on individual members of the class of '73 who achieved enviable ecords In academics, music, and the arts. Among those earning high scholastic honors ere Sue' Kelly and Gunnar Forland, National Merit Examination finalists. Eight other sen- rs received letters of recommendation: Steve Clohessy, Rick Gasparotti, Debby Gra- am, Kevin Johnson, Becky Jones, Rory Jones, Anne McCormac, and Robin Shore. IUndefeated debater and National Merit Scholar Becky Jones, became ldaho's Junior iss. Becky was also named to Who's Who in American High Schools. Others who achieved individually were Rick Gasparotti who spent his three years giv- g leading dramatic performances and Kevin Gollaher who created cartoons for The enator. Dawn Johnson, .representing the Ecology Club, was the first Borah student to estlfy at a legislative hearing. Dick Beeler, French horn player was named to the All American Orchestra.
