CLASS HISTORY We entered the freshman year very nervously and noisily with an enrollment of sixty-eight students. Four- teen of us came from Fall Creek Elementary School. We realized that this was a giant step from grammar school, but we soon learned to adapt ourselves to this new environment. Our homeroom teachers were Mr. Ralph Walker, Mr. Douglas Crater, and Mr. Edward Lakey. As class officers we elected Buddy Cline, Pres- ident; Donnie Winters, Vice-President; Carolyn Adams, Secretary; and Kelly Speas, Treasurer. We began our sophomore year with sixty members. We were more confident as we fell into the high school pattern. Several of our boys and girls played sports. Class sponsors were Mr. Morgan Stanley, Mr. Zack Ladd, and Mrs. Ralph Coram. Our class officers were David Hogan, President; Donnie Winters, Vice-President; Freddy Sizemore, Secretary; and Jean Shore, Treasurer. Our junior year found us with fifty-five members. We were looking forward to an exciting year. Custer's Last Stand left the audience shrieking with laughter. We shall long remember our directors and the many rehearsals. As the theme for our Junior-Senior Prom, we chose Hawaii . Our Junior Marshals were Mary Lynn Coram, Jerry Fletcher, Buddy Cline, Marie Hobson, and Ann Norman. We were under the direction of Mr. Edward Lakey, Miss Beulah Reece, and Mrs. Anita Reece. Our class officers were Buddy Cline, President; Mary Lynn Coram, Vice-President; Rebecca Jessup, Secretary; and Rebecca Brown, Treasurer. Our senior year, under the leadership of Mrs. Hilda McDonald and Miss Phebe Day, started its thrilling yet sad, concluding year with only fifty-one students. Early in the fall we received our class rings, which gave us a feeling of seniority and pride. Several of our members were leaders on the Annual Staff and in the Student Coun- cil. We chose Jane Adams and Kenny Hogan as our mas- cots. Rebecca Jessup was chosen to represent our school as Miss Boonville High and Kelly Speas Mr. Boonville High . Rebecca was also Homecoming Queen and Jean Shore was Senior Attendant. We are looking forward to our trip to Washington and The World's Fair. We elected as class officers: Donnie Winters, President; Steve Miller, Vice-President; Ann Norman, Secretary; and Evelyn Brown, Treasurer. We shall never forget our fond memories of Boonville High School. We have enjoyed working together and help- ing each other. We now leave Boonville High to go on to college, trade school, or to a job. We would like to express our appreciation to our principal, Mr. Albert Martin, for his leadership and administration, and to all our teachers who have steadily guided us toward our goal - graduation. To those who remain, may your years at Boonville High be good ones. 22 JUNIOR CLASS Tommy Vestal, President; Judy Stewart, Vice-President; Anne Renegar, Secretary; and Don Vestal, Treasurer.
