Pioneers compile a 6-4 record The 1975-76 football team had a respectable season with a 6-4 record. In the last game of the sea- son, the team won a thrilling dou- ble overtime victory over Mt. Ver- non 14-7. The team lost two of its games in the last 4 seconds: against Vincennes with 4 seconds to go and against Tell City after time had run out. Four players were named to the All-Conference: Mike Kroeger, D.T.; Kyle Girdley, D.S.; Scott McKinney, O.E.; and David Wire, L.B. David also was placed on the All-Area team. Mike Adams, Scott McKinney, and David Wire were Honorary Captains, elected by the team. The Reserves had a good season with a 4-2-1 record. The Freshmen also had a good season with a 4-2-1 record.
