On our way, we stopped at Rochester College. Charles La Quay, who is the Dean and Ramona De Traglia, who is one of his finest teachers, were happy to see us. We went over to the Convent and looked in'on Phyllis Composto, whose new name is too hard to pronounce. Of the scenery, we considered the farms the most beautiful. We learned that three of the largest ones were owned by Jim Rice, Jim Coe and Levere Lahah. We had to stop at a small garage for oil where we were happy to see Bob Carey and his helper Ed Penczek. They were both looking well. Dave Leffingwell, who is the famous clown of the Barnum Bailey Circus, drove up in his 1964 convertible. When we arrived in New York we went straight to the Statler Hotel which is owned and operated by George Kline. Newly crowned Miss America, Terry La Marca, had a room next to ours. You'l1 never believe it! She has two hairdressers, Carol Joslin and Sara Lou Hines. That night we went to the Latin Quarter. Bill Haley and his Comets were featured with Rodney Persons on drum, Bob Moore on steel'guitar and Marie Weeden on clarinet. She is the only girl in the whole band. Ann Rae Ernst is the hostess at the club and Ed Fynmore isthe photographer. We had to have our pictures taken, naturally. And guess what! Fred Reed is the chef at the club. Ummmm! While we were sitting at one of the tables, millionaire Dave Jackson walked in with his four secretaries Ctwo for each kneel. It was nice to see Terry Wesolowski, Phyllis Kwasniewski, Nancy Bartelotte and Helen Baker. Dave's wife, the former Marsha Linck, who is also his stenographer, came trailing in after him. The next day we visited Memorial Hospital where we met Theresa Fey, Mary Bitteker, and Ramona Wallace. They were fighting over one doctor. You guessed it, RonnieSherwood. Considering he is now engaged to Pat Sage it was quite interesting to see. The head nurse, Shirley Kirk, came along just then followed by the medical secretary, Mary Mercer and the typist, Mary Ann Piatkowski. As we were leaving the hospital, Gary Havens, who is now a famous sports car racer, was just going in. He had had a slight mishap while Fvefdivo and was being escorted in by two troopers, Joe Mihalko and Dale Ferris. Leon Padugki came along to investigate, as he is a great detective We left after a short while. As we walked along the street, we saw Lolly Scheve, and Helen Thomas who are now both married. Lolly told us that Ronnie Fredricks is doing quite well as Dodger bat b0y. Harry Faduski is the manager of this famous ball club. We also learned that Velma Hebdon, who is now an Air Force nurse, stopped off in New York on her way overseas. After we talked withthe girls we realized that wehadcomein the end of our visit in New York. It was certainly an enjoyable experience. Sincerely, 'Ro-me-na..
