Boonville Central School is located in the western foothills of the Adirondacks. In June, l9hh, 27 district schools centralized to form Central School District 51, Oneida County. Students came from Boonville and parts of Lyonsdale, Ava, and Western. Mr. Harold P. Seamon has been supervising principal since l9h3 During the past ten years,the school has grown from an enrollment of S56 in l9h3-hh to one of 887 at the present time. There were 23 teachers on the staff in 19535 there are now h2.
