Preparation for the Business World Employment in today’s business world is hard to find. Experience is the key factor that opens most doors. The Business Department strives to create an interest in the various office functions and develops the skills needed to perform them. Among the courses offered to build experience are typing, stenography, bookkeeping, business law, business machines and accounting. Practical experience is gained by the students of Distributive Education and Vocational Industry Clubs of America. They receive on-the-job training in local industries.
