RICHARD HORNICK Dick well exemplifies that trait of being a good sport. He is a nonchalant person and game for practically anything. Outside of school activities his interest lies in radio, and his earnest hope is to follow that profession. J. V. Football 2 Freshman Operetta Victory Corps U JOSEPH HROBAK Joe is one of our more quiet and serious members, He can be seen around BHS walking along the halls in an unobtrusive manner. His pleasant nature and satisfying smile make him a good friend to all. WILLIAM HULBERT With a jolly chuckle and a live and be merry for tomorrow we die creed. Bill goes sailing along. He is a great supporter of school functions and is one of the crowd when it comes to sport enthusiasm and interest. Boys' Chorus GEORGE JACKMAN An active member of the Sound Squad, George is a combination of good looks, intelligence, and industry. His favorite sport is hockey; his chief interests are radio and the Navy. George leaves BHS with an excellent record as a student and also as a friend to his many colleagues. WILLIAM HART Tall, happy-go-lucky. Bill is the typieal American boy. His portrayal of the Improper Henry Proper in our Senior play bespoke his humor and love of the ridiculous. May all the scenes of his life be as successful. Intramural Basketball 1 2 Wampus 3 4 Senior Play SIRI HEEB If you have ever seen Siri in a pensive mood,you have seen one of the wonders of the world. Fond of fun and full of school spirit, she is the original gloom dispeller. Her participation in the Senior Play as Dor.a proved her to be far from dumb. Freshman Operetta Fashion Club 3 4 Senior Play Archery Club 1 Wampus 4 Dramatic Club 2 3 JOSEPH HENCHY Our best-dressed Senior plans to become a Marine after his graduation, and if his four years record at BHS is any index by which to measure his ability,the Marine Corps will be pleased and lucky to have him. J. V. Football 12 J. V. Basketball 2 Victory Corps 4 Senior Follies Chairman EDWIN HOPKINS An outstanding athlete of the school. Eddie is as friendly as he is popular. He is the manager of the basketball team and is also on the football and baseball teams. However, it is in the Navy that Eddie will climb to the top. J. V. GLORIA KAJilNSKY Gloria is characterized by an angelic face which, at the slightest provocation, bursts into an expression of complete merriment. We know she is certain to acquire the affection 11 with whom she comes into contact. JOYCE KAYHART Tall, cool, calm, and collected, Joyce has won admiration from all her friends for her poise and intelligence. Surely success could not pass this girl's door without knocking twice in recognition of her many accomplishments. Her ambition is to be a secretary——— while in her spare moments she plays the piano. A gentle and pleasing nature makes Lil a good friend indeed.
