 What will we think of Some things never change. Like ordering your class ring, or building the float during homecoming week. These customs have been around for years. But other things do change. What happened to the six period day? It was replaced by a seven period day because of Governor Clinton's new standards. In addition to the seven period day, teachers must now have a set number of students in their classes. Also the number of credits needed to graduate has been raised from 18 to 22 starting this year. New ideas and modifications have changed many of the habits we had. Some people remember the two different lunch hours. Now all the students go to lunch at the same time. Teresa Kitchens, a junior, comments, Personally, I think it is worse. I wish we had two separate lunches. But other students who have never had the two lunch hours enjoy sharing their lunch time with all grades. Who knows what next year, or even next month, will be like? We might be going to school all year before long. But after one group has made its changes, and all is said and done, there will always be another. And who knows what they will think of next?
