GQJS .jfafory We, the senior class of 1963, even though starting school in many different places, have become very close in these past years. Those who started at Renwick were J. Cam- eron, B. Engstrom, L. Hebner, P. Hefty, M. Hoffman, B. Hoveland, D. McCurry, David McCurry, D. Nelson, M. Schmits, J. Schnetzer, T. Tjelle, and L. Veldhouse. Those from Vernon were L. Cameron and E. Macha. C. Johnson started her schooling at Hardy. C. Hesse, M. Meyer, C. Dobbs and G. Lowe joined us in later years. Our high school days began with Freshman Initiation. Our class officers were D McCurry, Presidentg B. Hoveland, Vice-President: M Mever, Secretaryg D. McCurry, Treasurer. Our Sophomore year passed with the usual events. We elected C. Dobbs. President, T. Tjelle, Vice-President: P. Hefty, Secretaryg and C. Johnson, Treasurerg to be our class officers.

During our Junior year our float won second place in the 1961 Homecoming parade. We also sponsored the Homecoming dance, sold refreshments at the ball games, pre- sented the Junior Class Play, and the Junior-Senior Prom. The officers during our Junior year were M. Hoffman, President: Dave McCurry, V. -President: C. Hesse, Secretaryg and C. Johnson, Treasurer. When our last year arrived, we chose Dave McCurry, D. Nelson, P. Hefty and L. Veldhouse, respectively to lead our class. Our senior year was filled with fun and excitement. The most important events of the year were Homecoming, our senior trip to Des Moines, Skip Day at Waterloo, the Junior-Senior Prom, our second year for getting straight I's at large group contest, and of course, Baccalaureate and Commencement. I, DAVE MCCURRY, will my motorcycle to Jim Nelson, who needs transportation. I DONNA MCCURRY, will my quietness and ability to stay out of trouble to my sister, Darlene. I ELLIS MACHA, will my ability to get along with Mr. Movick to Dennis Rapp, I also will my 57 Chevy to Joyce Hawk, because she likes to drive it.
