They were able. by being in second place in the Sectional Tournament, to advance to District play at Clear Lake. The girls won their first game with little difficulty but were de- feated in the next two games. This left the Bobcats with the fourth position in the District com- petition. The great determination of the team helped them to advance. They played well together, and showed good sportsmanship throughout the season. The basketball coaches of the North Stat Conference singled out three of our girls for honors.
