The Bobcats had a creditable '61 track season by finishing in the upper division in five out of six large meets and won dual meets against Goldfield and Corwith-Wesley. Cold and damp weather early in the season handicapped the Bobcats in conditioning for the Pochantas Relays, but the boys came on fast after that to finish the season in good form. Ron Klassie qualified in the district meet to participate in the state meet in both the 220 yard dash and the high jump. 80 Boone Valley 112 Boone Valley 82 LuVerne 55 Boone Valley Bronco Relays ----- Conference Meet - - 685 Boone Valley 43 Franklin District Meet - - - 57 25 61 14 55 1 Y TRACK SCORES Goldfield Corwith-Wesley Klemme Goldfleld Boone Valley - - Boone Valley Goldfield Dows Dual Meet Dual Meet Quadrangular Meet 3rd At Belmond 5th At Belmond Quadrangular Meet Boone Valley - Tied for Sth out of 20 At Eagle Grove
