SENIOR PR OPHEC Y Here it is, 1967, and we see that Lavona Braun is designing clothes for her new French husband. Oh Yes, Barba Ritter has her axnbitiong her hair is now 'long and she is called 2.nd Veronica. As we turn on the radio, we now hear that swooning Virginia Gorton. Let's change stations! In 1967, we see Professor Holliday teaching school He now has a Mrs. Holliday. We see Virginia Larnbert working nights now. It seems she can't get up in the morning. She is working in an alarm clock factory trying to make clocks that will wake you up inthe morning. Virginia Stimes, the business girl of Capron, is now toe dancing. As we take a day off for the circus, whom should we see trying out for the Fat Lady but Margaret Frye. The Wolf Pack of 48 has now quieted down to one girl as their leader fE.dna Mae johnsonj. Shirley Dunker is now a married woman but she keeps up her basketball career by throwing her husband around. Ruth Osterberg is carrying out her nickname, she is now a Bubble Dancer. It seems that Ruth Schwebke has now become a Lambert! Oh yes, there is a little Lambert too. And at a home in the woods we now see lla Gunderson howling at the moon at night in hopes of finding her long lost wolf. Bonne, by name. Bob Cline is now running a Farmers' Elevator with his charming secretary Betty Ball. Someone should tell him it would be easier to haul coal in a truck than a wheelbarrow. g Eddy Anderson is now running for President of the U. S. A. It seems Roma Seaver is ahead of him and Vice-president is as far as he can get. Their next topic will be lefthanded monkey wrenches. What is this sign: THE THREE MUSKETEERSH? Why it is none other than Deon, Sadie, and Doris, and what are they trying to do? Catch Kilroy? Betty Williams is now married--she has been chasing her husband for 5 years, and she finally caught up with him. johnny Georgeson now has his own basketball team--the George-Sons- Squad, by name. Roger johnson is now making Fords. They seem to last longer than those he buys. fHas anyone got some baling wire to donate?j

SENIOR PR OPHECY -C ontinued As we stepped into a restaurant to eat, we see a sign on the door, THE PEACOCK. Shall we enter? Yes. Well, who else can it be but Clifford Pea- cock! Does anyone want a good wife? Elwin Hoelzel has gone to beauty school, he just couldn't stand straight hair any longer. Stan Mikrut is running a Ladies' Hat Shop. He surely has a way with the women and he designs the hats himself. Pastor Hermanson will announce the text for next Sunday at the Ladies' Conference of this week. Richard Garner is now raising succotash, he plants corn and beans in the same field while Dick Ball chases butterflies. Don McCullough has his own dancing school now, called the Happy Hops. At a wedding we see a blushing groom. The bride has him tied securely. Who else could it be but? ? ? ? and Svensen. Louie johnson is giving speeches. He has a bus route and practices speecheson it every morning. Bob Fleming has an ad in the 1967 issue of a paper. Pretty girls wanted. He is finally an artist and has just got his one desire fshort skirts agai Donald Jeffers has a farm and a wife. He is a very contented old man only he has yet to discover how to get the extra milk back in the cow. Cn Broadway in a broken down old shack, whom should we see but Bob Munson trying to dye his gray hair red. We see 'Marion Wright living on a farm--Oh yes--she's threshing ' Straw.' SENIOR WILL We, the Class of 1948, of Capron High School, of the County of Boone, and of the State of Illinois, being of sound mind and body after four strenuous years, do hereby make, publish, and declare this as our last and best will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills, bequests, and devices of whatever nature of form heretofore made by us. We, the Seniors, will to the faculty, our regular habits and the excuses we are so good about bringing from home. To the Juniors, we extend the quietness of the Seniors during their English Class. To the Sophomores, we will our ability in long arguments during class meetings, or whenever handy. To the Freshmen, we will our dignity, the gum we,couldn't chew, and our skill in hitting the waste basket with paperwads. nl
