LATI The Spanish Club meets once a month. This is a business meeting only, conducted by the president. The club plans parties through out the year with one of these being a pinata party, a Spanish custom. The club also plans trips and other en- tertainment for their group. Miss Heaps is the sponsor and acts as advisor and guide. Not present when the picture was taken are Sue Gibbons, Elsie Keeney, Marsha Kimberly, Helen Siegel, Mari Wicks, Nell Erickson, Cheryl Hollingsworth, and Linda Ward. Mrs. Wicks served as general chairman of the tea. Each year the Hospital Auxiliary holds a tea for the prospective Future Nurses of S . . the high schools in Boone County, this year holding it at the Boone Golf and Country Club. Speakers for the event were Dianne Tingwald, freshman at Iowa Lutheran, Sue Radnich, sophomore at Iowa Methodist, and Sandy Nickel, sophomore at Mercy. Available at the hospital this year is a nourishment cart. The members of HCC work on weekends at the hospital on a volunteer basis. I9
