The French Club meetings are held once a month consisting of business being discussed, a program being presented, and refreshments being served. One of the events was a party to which they invited other French Clubs from out of town. The club also plans other parties and entertainment for the club itself. The Polemics Club is one of the newly organized clubs of our school this year. The sponsor of this club is Mr. Hansen and the president is Iohn Coeppinger. At their meeting which usually take place once a month there is an invited guest speaker. Among the guests that have come to the meetings were the different candidates that ran for the office of mayor in Boone. LATI The Spanish Club meets once a month. This is a business meeting only, conducted by the president. The club plans parties through out the year with one of these being a pinata party, a Spanish custom. The club also plans trips and other en- tertainment for their group.
