The decorating committee met with Miss Osborne and planned the prom. They chose a theme, planned and made the decorations, and then decorated. Mrs. Plath had charge of the banquet committee. After the theme had been selected and the decorations planned, this committee planned and made the decorations for the banquet and then did the decorating. Invitations were sent to the school board, faculty members, and their husbands or wives by Mrs. Taylor and the invitation committee. Mr. Riemenschneider worked with the banquet committee in planning a program for the banquet, making programs and covers, arranging tables, planning seating arrange- ments, and making place cards. The lighting committee was headed by Mr. Stock. It planned and took care of the lighting for both the prom and banquet. To the juniors the prom is the main event of the year and they spend many hours to make it a success. 26
