Ap well as ffivinf time and elinort to Boone High and its students. the members of the council achieved much for themselves along the line of citizens of tomorrow. Coun- cil members Uot a glimpse of parliamentary procedure and the basic fundamentals of democracy at work. Democracy was also shown in the manner by which the members of the council were elected. The various homerooms elected a representative to be a member of the Student Council and thus relayed problems ideas, and suggestions back to the homeroom groupg this established a closer unity between the faculty and the students. The progress and success of the Boone High Qtudent Council was very much de- pendent on the guidance of the council adviser, Mr. C. J. Martindale.
