On the average the team had a successful season with three victories and three losses. Through- out the entire season the boys showed improvement in their style and time rat- ings. Many members of the team have another year left in high school and ought to prove outstanding next year. Robert Dahl, also a junior, showed remarkable Robert Dahl speed in the breast stroke and was re- warded with five first places during the swimming season. Because of illness Rob- ert was not able to finish out the tank season. James Berglund completed his last full year of swimming. l-le received considerable recognition lor the crawl stroke, in which he excelled. Swimming the 40 and 100-yard freestyle, he took first place in most of the events in which he was entered, and a second place in the state meet.
