Mliss Jeannette Lloyd Jn the center ring of the main tent. we find the members of the Theater Guild. By combining the two former dramatic clubs. Masque and Buskin and Boone High Players. the Theater Guild was organized under the advisership of Miss Lloyd. assisted by Misses Shaler. Schuldt, Wernli. and Whitney. The club has been divided into four sections: acting, directing. technical. and magazine. This gives each member an opportunity to study the phase of play production in which he is most interested. For special programs. the Theater Guild presented the plays Seeing Double . directed by Evelyn Martin and Mary Katherine Veal. and The Ring and the Look. directed by Elizabeth Handschin. Margaret Ann Peters. and Nadine Amandus. During the Christmas season Mrs Harley m73lk9l' read for the club The Last Word . by Van Dyke. Boone Highs dramatic stars have not confined their talents to the limits of the Big Top. They presented tlse one-act play Gas before the Order of White Shrine and The Boone Womans' Chili.
