Our new Alma Mater means much to the students here at W. R. Boone High School. For the Seniors, it is a farewell song to classmates and fond memories. For the juniors and Sophomores, it holds a pledge of loyalty that is foremost in the heart of each and every student. Proudly we wear our rings hearing the oficial seal of Boone High School. This emblem came from the combined eforts of Maxine Butler and Iimmy Armstrong. Pictured 'on the seal are the torch, representing knowledge, the winged foot, representing athletics, and the Indian which signifies our own Boone Braves. For our motto, we have adopted Semper I cum virtute - always with courage.
