'-AS f . Charlotte and Bud, sophomores of 1951, eagerly scan the head- lines tor neva at the proposed new high schools. In l95l the headlines read City To Get Two New High Schools. The talk was that sopho- mores might graduate from a new school. Now, two years have passed and with it the dream of two new high schools has come true. Our 51,000,000 school, named for the former beloved principal of O.H.S., William R. Boone. opened its doors in September of 1952.
