The students at Boone County High School enjoy many activities throughout the year. Although it is a very young school, Boone County already has an outstanding sports program. One of the assets of Boone County is its clubs. There is usually an activity or proj- ect being sponsored by one of them. The students look forward each year to the Y- Teen Mother and Daughter banquet, F.H.A. and F.F.A. Banquets and skating parties sponsored by various clubs and classes, only to mention a few. There is a serious side to our clubs also, for who can tell of the fine service rendered to the school by the annual Teen-Talks sponsored by the Hi-Y and Y-Teens and the many other construc- tive projects of our clubs. Some of the lasting impressions left on students from Boone County are the products of our supe- rior Glee Clubs, Choir, and Band, for we shall never forget the thrilling experience of listening to or being a part of such old Glee Club favorites as Green Cathedral and O, Divine Redeemer and hearing the Band greet us on many occasions with our stirring school song. The school year, climaxed by the Junior and Senior prom and graduation activities, leaves each student with many wonderful memories along with a sense of accomplishment and pride in their work and Boone County.
