F ORE WORD In a flash back of years starting from this one and ending at 1960, we, the graduating class of 1964, 9 'b'b' students of progress and initiative. can say with pride that we have been and still are While, we have paused briefly here from our con- stant travel up the spiral road of life, our hearts grow heavy with sorrow for the inevitable departure from our beloved Alma Mater. Throughout the course of our lives, we shall never tions of life given us by our principal and teachers. May their names be made a shrine for the incom- parable services rendered unto us. Our Alma Mater, which may be compared to a station of preparation on the spiral road of life, has served well and beyond its purpose, but there are other points of destination to which we must aspire, while there are years yet ahead, and while our expressway of opportunity is still accessi- ble. Onward up this road we go! For some of us the city of success or prosperity awaits our arrival, while for others, the city of discontent. If all of us use well the acquired knowledge of our high school years in college or other higher institutions of learning, the possibilities of a beneficial, and rewarding life are great, but let us not forget the sacrifices of our parents, their instructions, and the prayers of many for being able to see the end of the beginning -- our graduation from high school. In special recognition to those whose supervision has made possible this publication, we salute Mrs. G. B. McRae and Miss E. P. Harris.
