F orewom' It is a great pleasure for me to be chosen as the Editor-in-chief of this, the pioneer for 1962-63, and with great pride I accept the task of writing the foreword. We, the members of the graduating class must truly say that here at Washington High we have spent four of the best years of our lives and in the future we shall refer to them as the most important. As we leave Washington High for the broad and challenging heights that lie ahead of us, we must stop and express our gratitude to those who have made this big and important step possible --our parents and the members of the staff here at Washington High. To the future seniors, we say, Just as you want it5 yours is the opportunity.
