BLACK HERITAGE WEEK The color of our skin: can somebody tell us what it really means. . . Does it represent the devil, evil and a curse? No, it's beautiful, magnificent and cold-blooded. They gave us a week and told us to express our heritage but there was a question. How can we really get involved when for so long we've been forgotten? We elected a queen, sponsored a dance and had an assembly that let everybody know we were proud of our heritage and our people, and will continue to be proud as long as our skin remains BLACK.
