0-Editor Donna Delahorne HORNET VOICE There was a new sport going on this year and only a few witnessed. It was a contest of who could drive each other crazy first- The Oklahoma Eagle or the Hornet Voice staff. Coach Brewer was in there fighting against broken type machines and presses that didn't work, alienated staffers and missed dead lines. The quarterbacks - Donna D. and Craig - called the shots as they were and ended up with some pretty darn good newspapers. Among the other shortages this year was a shortage of ad money coming in to bolster the economy of the Hornet Voice. We had fun trying to interview George Harrison or Billy Preston and one of our editors was an attendant to Miss Hornet. fNo, not Craig, dummyl. There seemed to be an eternal great battle between the Paper Punks and the Yearbook Yo Yo's. Would you believe a gala 12 page Christmas issue that al- most came out in January? Good papers take a lot of work and a dedication few realize. We had a sense of humor and that helped too!
