Forensics is a unique. competitive activity. It incor- W4, ii -A .Q ., ., .. porates various areas of speech competition as T-'lizlfffti well as debate. It promotes scholastic achievement by teaching research skills, organization, analysis and knowledge of national and international pro- blems and events. Participants not only learn to prepare evidence and arguements in an organized manner, but they learn to think on their feet. They develop the speech skills necessary for a good delivery including proper voice, diction and eye contact. In Forensics, students learn to persuade others and ' to think independently. They learn how to function in a legistative setting as well by preparing bills and resolutions and acting as legislators. ln short, Forensics prepares students to be leaders!
