Student Teachers: A Mutual Learning Experience Carolyn Robinett For a short time we became involved in the learning experience of other students who came to our high school to learn the art of teaching. This year ten student teachers became a part of the learning environment. They attempted to teach us and we attempted to learn from their attempts. Their eight week stay ended with us bemoaning the fact that they were leaving or sighing a sigh of relief. Whichever, their mistakes and their successes were with us and we understood them. 18
