The Bonner Braves, although not win- ning a large percentage of their games, proved to be one of the best teams to come out of Bonner High in several years. The Braves repeatedly led in statistics but a lack of qualified reserves and a weak pass defense in the closing moments of the game plagued the team on many occasions. The highlight of the season came when Bonner met Washington in the latter's homecoming tilt. The Braves fought to a 13 to 13 tie against a team chat was favored by several touchdowns. The closing minutes of the game found Washington stalling for time, glad to settle for a tie.
