Lawrence Ilngllsh Cornelius Groves, Dolores Dial and Jack Roseberry The 'Sophies' were well represented in sports Dick Lauffer, Jiuie Carr, Richard Allen, 'Tiny' lnglish Gene Reynolds. Charles Dalaba, and Harry hlth were out for football last four earned letters The class placed Gene Reynolds, Lawrence lngllsh. and Ired Cox on the first ten in basketball Dick Iaufter, Wesley Pnrtee and Richard Allen got places the reserve ten Jimmie Car is student lanager Three sophomores were placed on the Pow Wow staff These fortnnates were Eleanor lisa, Arlene Harrington and Jack Boseberry The 'forty nlners' held a party October 28th The theme was Halloween lverybody wore blue jeans and plaid. shirts There was dancing and refreshments.
