Mr. Johnson has just been reminded that it's hnally Friday. tUpper, right? Mr. Tom Larson graduated from SDSU. He teaches auto fundamentals and auto mechanics. lMiddle, leftl Mr. Hanlon's goal in life is working with students and helping them to become capable as citizens in our society, He wants to be cognizant of change within the student population, and teach with an awareness of that change. He teaches Woodworking and mechanical drawing and has earned his B.A., M.A., and his M.S. in counseling. He enjoys hunting, fishing, photography and traveling. 2 get 'S ,,,, 'if el . sf: V In his spare time. tmiddle, right! Mr. John Purvis having received his B.A. in Industrial Arts from SDSU, teaches woodshop and metalshop. He participates in water sports and volleyball. He feels that teaching is a way to survive and a way to teach students to survive. lLower lefti Miss Mona Trunkfleld would like to aid students in the development of individual, creative thinking. She is the advisor of Art Club and enjoys traveling. She graduated from SDSU. CLower center? Mr. Fred James, in teaching photography, crafts, and ecology, attempts to provide a challenging and creative atmosphere which meets the needs of the individual. While in high school he preferred biology and band. Majoring in Art and Social Science, and minoring in geography, history, and economics, he completed his M.A. at SDSU. He has taught four years at Mar Vista and one year at Southwestern College evening division. Pastimes include camping, gardening, woodworking, and photography. Mr. James sees life as a way to make positive contributions to the environment we all inhabit. lLower righti Mr. Michael Sisson holds that personal improvement and progress is the most important aspect of teaching. Receiving a B.A. in industrial arts and minoring in math from SDSU, he now teaches graphic arts, advertising art, photography, and math. At Hoover high he excelled in basketball and other sports. In his spare time he enjoys the piano and photography. By living he hopes to feel that he has used his abilities to their greatest extent and for essential wholesome purposes. 207
