She received her AB at SDSU and is now working on her masters degree at Pepperdine College in multicultural education. In life, she is not sure if she wants to return to counseling or keep the challenge of competing to be a principal. In high school she enjoyed dances, football games, and club activities. Stewart, principal of Bonita Vista High School, was actively involved in athletics and student government in high school. He now enjoys watching and participating in most sports, working with his hands as in cabinet 190 1n....., ,,.c My was-a.,e making, and outdoor activities such as camping. In college, he earned his BS degree with a major in industrial arts and a minor in P.E. He has been a classroom teacher in industrial arts, P.E., social science, and business. Through his work, he wants to try to identify the level ofa student's ability and design courses and instructional materials accordingly.

lBelow Leftl, lVlr. Leonard Griego enjoyed school. He lettered in four sports for four years, sang in the choir, was editor of the paper and annual, and was involved in scouting. His favorite hobbies are skiing, back-packing, reading, gardening, landscaping, and making jewelry. He earned a B.A. with a major in history and political science and a minor in English. His master's degree was in guidance and counseling. He views communication as a means of health, happiness and full self expression. Through education he tries to let people around him understand that they are perfect the the way they are and it is them who may choose to change. lBelow Rightl, lVlrs. Ruth Grouell feels that counseling is a way to help students help themselves. In life she wants to achieve peace and happiness. Besides counseling, she teaches peer counseling. She obtained a BA. in English from the University of Iowa and an lVl.S. in counseling from S.D.S.U. In high school she was active in G.A.A., the swim team, student government, and the French Club.
