M Ol Tnaditiim ' Homecoming Week activities were climaxed at the halftime show as the Bonita Vista Barons met the Southwest Raiders. Six beautiful girls, instead of the usual five, comprised the '76 court. They were driven around the field in Conestoga wagons, chauffeured by characters of the wild west. The girls were then escorted down a red carpet by last year's alumni. The announcer told of their interests and activities as the band and specialty corps played tribute. The girls were lopposite page, lower left continuing clockwisel Holly Davies, escorted by Mike Fulton, Gerry Cox, escorted-by Jack Burns, Roslyn Green, escorted by Bruce Rosendahl, lVlaya Elrick, escorted by Bobby Shields, Tracy Price, escorted by Chuck Fox, and Sherrie Lithgow, escorted by Ken Johnson. When the candidates had been introduced, runners-up were announced, with Tracy Price being named first runner up and a happy, surprised Sherrie Lithgow as queen. After receiving flowers and crowning, the queen, the six excited girls agreed it was a night to remember always. It was a beautiful night as Homecoming '76 drew to a close.
