Linda Cowart S yi K .QW lf H. l it ,lm lowiwowgw Mir ob Ji .Q lyjfwly Retaining the individualism of Bonita, it was decided we would have eight cheerleaders forming a Pep Squad, in lieu of four songleaders and four cheerleaders which is customary. After selection by the student body, these girls were confronted with the task of learning new cheers. Having designed and made their uniforms they performed the fol- lowing week at the Vista game. Each girl considered being selected a great honor, and hours of practice were put forth to prove her worthiness of being cheerleader. With undying enthusiasm, our Junior Varsity pep squad supported the Barons at every game and led us with spirit- ed leaps and cheers. But cheering at games was not the extent of their duties. The eight girls also set an example of pride and interest in their school which inspired us other students. The cheerleaders, symbol of the Spirit of '67, repre- sented the spirit of the student body as a whole. pgggd M u K Cheryl Gibson i fx! Chris Miles 9 allll .v ll gl Gale Speegle
