The very backbone of Bonita Vista's Spirit of '67 lies in the enthusiasm pro- lected by our Concert Band. ln order to present a truly beneficial and enjoyable assembly, our Pep Commissioner Carol Lechner has arranged so that all Baron supporters can listen to the talent in our Concert Band. The thirty-eight band mem- bers, under the leadership of Mr. Sumner, often are called upon to perform a few of the many pieces they have mastered this year. Band members not only work ferverish- ly at school refining their music, but they also practice daily in their homes. The Pep Band now exists as an indispensable organ of the student body. Bonita Vistans found themselves looking forward to at- tending assemblies, and football and bas- ketball games when the band would play their familiar tunes. Without this group of assemblyh individuals in the Pep Band, Bonita Vista lust would not be complete. Concert Band practices to achieve perfection for an up-coming
