ill 6 M. fit 1 rj . For the seventh graders, the first year at Bonita Vista High proved to be some- what of a challenge. Being at high school they experienced and enjoyed some of the benefits of high school students. This transition, from an elementary school to a senior high was a real change, but the seventh grade students have proven that they are able to undertake any problem with great ease. By proiecting such invigorating spirit, the seventh graders have promoted several of many school programs thereby arousing enthusiasm in the entire school. These underclassmen selected the winning name ot our annual. The Spirit of 67 has shown through by the lively pep dis- played this year at athletic events, dances, and assemblies. ln the future they will feel they helped make Bonita a success. Not only have they helped the school, but the school aided them, by rounding out their per- sonalities, helping them to find new friends and making them better people. We are grateful to these seventh grade pupils for partaking so sincerely in many school activities thereby setting a pace for the remainingthree grades. We can feel confident that when these young people have advanced toward a higher academic level,'they will embody the leadership qualities that it takes to carry out the de- mands of an Associated Student Body. The seventh grade has shown that they are proud of our school, proud to be Barons.
