The faculty and administration of Bonita Vista High School has succeeded in making the primary, and most im- portant, year a success. With their help, several traditions have been started and school spirit is abundant among stu- dents and faculty. Students seldom realize how much the faculty and administration does for us. By helping to develop and improve our working habits and other activities outside of school, the faculty presents to us a series of exciting challenges which give us the desire to learn, to gain more information and to study things we have never heard of before. The teachers and vice-principals set goals for us to attain, we are always striving to do so. Encouragement is always near, if needed. As their teach- ers helped them to succeed in life they are helping us. Numerous activities have been pro- moted with the assistance of teachers and the administration. They always have ideas and suggestions on hand for when we run out. Although we students sometimes disagree with the opinions of our instructors, we have now learned how to respect and value their views. Many students are surprised at the concern expressed over us by the Ad- ministration. The counselors know when we are having trouble in a certain class, and do what they can to help us. lf it is necessary we are transferred to a class more suitable to our abilities. All of this and much more, is what our faculty and administration does for us. Each year we become increasingly grateful for all they do.

, ,.44'9 MR RHBERTL ciiviaiz PRINCIPAL ln his tireless efforts to achieve many goals, Mr. Geyer has won the respect of all those who've known him. The experience he has acquired while working with other high schools has proved to be invaluable and has played a great part in the founding of Bonita Vista. Although his duties as Principal take up much of his time, Mr. Geyer has been present at all major activities this year. He is extremely loyal to our school and has in this first year accomplished many goals which took other schools years to achieve. Bonita Vista High School is fortunate to have such an estimable man for a principal.
