RX ...si if --- ls... Dick Wickert Peggy Berg President Vice President Jim Strombotne Anita White Secreta ry Treasurer Way back in 1940, when elementary teachers were first blessed with the already distinguished class of 1952, they could see the relieved faces of the high school teachers as this class passes, with question, through the gataeway to the world, water pistols and all. In all seriousness, as this class started its eventful iourney up the pathway to graduation as the fresh- men class of 48-49, they elected such capable leaders as Jon Sapp, President, and Buster Benner, Vice President. Then as Sophomores they took from their wide selecfion of possibilities, Gordy Duvall, Presi- dent, and Ann Parker, Vice President. When they ioined the ranks of upper classmen in 1950, they really began to get in the swing of things. After sponsoring a profitable Sock Hop and put on the entertaining Junior Play titled Going Places, they finished up a great year with one of the best Junior-Senior Proms Bonita has had. On entering their final lap at Bonita they elected Dick Wickert as Pres., Peggy Berg, Vice Pres., Jim Strombotne, Sec., Anita White, Student Council Rep. They finished their historic 4 years by sponsoring a Leap Year Dance, with the boys doing the work. After the Dance it seemed that they needed a rest, so on ditch day they headed for places unknown. On May 6th and 7th the Seniors again presented another play titled June Graduate, with the proceeds being given to the Student Body as a gift from the Senior Class. ii
