fx 'I '? 495 y 1 HFTQT f ,Q O 3 'QM Junior Class History 4, The year of 1958-'59 saw the spotlight turned on the Juniors since this is the hostess class. vel Seven boys and four girls enrolled in Bonesteel High School for an ex- citing Junior year. They were Norma Hermsen, Lorean Mulford, Linda Peterson, Adella Klien, Roger Lounsbery, Terry Dummer, Jim Hermsen, Raymond Schmitz, Larry Ohden, John Applebee and Kenny Qualm. Class Officers elected were: President, Kenny Qualmp Vice-President, Larry Ohden: Secretary, Roger Lounsberyy Treasurer, Lorean Mulfordy Student Council Representatives, Kenny Qualm and Linda Peterson: and Class Editor, Adella Klien. Raymond Schmitz, Johnny Applebee, and Roger Lounsbery lettered in football. Linda Peterson was chosen as one of the A-Team cheerleaders. The Juniors did various things to raise money this year. Some of these things were: A magazine drive, bake sales, and selling refreshments at all home football and basketball games. Lorean Mulford and Raymond Schmitz were chosen as Queen and King candidates for our Homecoming. Lorean Mulford and Larry Ohden were chosen as Queen and King can- didates for the carnival. Members of the class participated in basketball, football, track, decla- mation, music, pep club, and girls' physical education. Adella Klien represented the school at the Hickory Stick declamation contest in dramatics. April 3, 1959 was the date scheduled for the Junior Class Play.
