JU IOR. CLASS HISTORY The J'unior's started the third year of high school of the year 195768, with 19 enrolled. Mavis King came the second six weeks, but left soon after, leaving 19 once more. - Class officers elected were: President, Connie Hoffmang V-ice-President, Loren Siehg1Secretary, Isla Jonsg Treasurer, Don Aisenbrey. The student council representatives were Connie Hoffman and Loren Sieh. The Carnival King and Queen candidates were Loren Sieh and Melva. Sip. The first money making campaign was the annual magazine .drive which was followed by selling refreshments at all home football and basketball games. Members of the class participated in basketball, football, track, declamation, music, pep club, and girl's physical education. Carroll Anderson, Bill Leslie, Loren Sieh, and Roy Vogt lettered in football. Bill Leslie and Loren Sieh lettered in basketball. Patty McDonald and Phylis Neilan received superior and Connie Hoffman' and Bill Leslie received excellent at the home declamation contest. Patty McDonald and Phyllis Neilan repre- sented the class at the District Declamation contest. Bill Leslie and Patty McDonald were awarded excellent ratings at the music contest in Kimbal. Betty Dion and Melva Sip participated in the ensemble. The Junior Class play One Wild Night was given April ll. May 6, was the date scheduled for the Junior-Senior banquet. SGPHOMORE CLASS HISTORY 3 Fourteen Sophomores entered Bonesteel High School on September Z, 1957. Richard Bailey dropped out the next day. Nita Sondgeroth and Betty Sargent moved just after the sem- ester tests. Q Our class officers are Jim Herm- sen, Presidentg Kenny Qualm, Vice-Pres- identg Nita Sondgeroth, Sec. -Tres.5 and Roger Lounsbery, Student Council Repre- sentative. Lorean Mulford was elected to fill Nita Sondgroth's place for Sec. -Treas. and Class Editor. Mr. Mead and Mr. Bac- kus are our Class Sponsors. Roger Lounsbery and Norma Hermsen were chosen to represent us as King and Queen candidates for the School Carnival. We were V runners-up in the race. - - ll F - S: a f 5: Nita Sondgeroth and Linda Peterson it-I .1 L were again elected as B team cheerleaders.
