Dorothy takes up her sewing where she left off this morning. Charles gets to Kay's house. Karen goes baby sitting. Ed Hewitt picks up Dorcas to go out for the evening. Vernon and Charles go visiting Des Moines. David leaves for Deloris's house. Jim goes to pick up his girlfriend. Bob takes a carload of kids to Lone Tree, Deloris becomes entranced by Steve Efnoi-'s ghost stories. Bob and his passengers decide to have a fire drill. Lee buys groceries at Butler's for his mother. Deloris scares Steve with ghost stories and he runs home to Mama. Lee arrives home with groceries. Audrey and John are making plans for the future. Cop stops Jim and gives him a lecture. Lee, Audrey, and John arrive at Butler's to take Loretta home. Bob and Buick arrive home safely, Dorcas and Ed arrive home and Dorcas proceeds to do dishes while Steve keeps Ed company in the living room. Ron looks in his address book to see which girls he is to write to tonight. Karen arrives home from baby-sitting job. Ed takes a last admiring glance in the mirror at his new red hair before slipping into bed. Vernon and Charles notice the gas tank is about empty and head for home. Dorothy falls asleep and sews her finger in a seam. Vernon and Charles push the car the rest of the way home. Dorothy wakes up and rips her finger out of the seam and goes to bed. David comes home early because he thinks he might go to school tomorrow. Steve decided to go to bed, so Ed goes home. J'im's girl didn't like red hair: consequently, Jim comes home early. All seniors have been tucked into bed by their mothers except Judy. Midnight: J'udy's mother hits the floor and Judy says, Bye Larry, to end another day in the life of the Seniors of 57. . All the kids in study hall pair off. Deloris returns from lunch. Ronnie, Charles Crise and Ed Holland come in from playing ping pong in the Ag. Shop. Miss Wesp decides to increase the typing class's vocabulary by giving spelling tests. Boys in industrial arts make piles of sawdust. Dorothy is struggling to thread her sewing machine. Kay tries on her dress for Mrs. Spry to measure the hem. All classes dismiss but typing. Typing class is dismissed. Miss Wesp says, Whistle or shout, or I'1l send my bloodhounds out. Karen and Deloris go press suits. ' Rita takes a typewriter to annual room. Charles Crise plays ping pong. Boys go to basketball. Dave comes back for basketball practice. Girls have glee club. Vernon sits trying to contrive a way to ask Ramona for a date. Charles B. works on Photo Booth. Boys in ag. shop eat candy bars bought at noon, Mr. Kennedy has Barb take the money to the bank. Glee club dismissed, Loretta and Audrey go to the gym to watch Boy's basketball practice Uohn and Lee.J Rita and Dorothy go to typing room to type news for Altoona Herald. Barb returns from bank out of breath got there just at closing time. Marjoy and Colleen go to Bookkeeping room to study?????????? Karen sigts out to comb her hair. Ed Hewitt leaves for home. Girls go to basketball practice. Vernon tries to get his car started. Bob runs over to the church to take the Ferguson home. Basketball girls decide to tape blouses rather than to use buttons. Vernon finally gets his car to go. Deloris mails a letter for Kay. Ronnie is teasing the younger kids on the bus. Dave arrives home for an after-school snack. Steve goes out to Butlers for a coke. Senior farm boys are found slaving over chore :, Charles gets back from bus route. Marjoy reads the newspaper Cfunnies.J Steve comes back from But1er's and asks Dorcas to wash his car. Girls dismissed from basketball. Rita finishes her twenty laps and' joins other girls. Loretta goes to work at Butler's. Rita calls Colleen about shorthand assignment.
