ROCKET STAFF The Rocket, our school newspaper, comes out about once a month, And so, every month the paper must be planned, articles must be written, and there's proofreading and typing to be done, Then the paper goes off to the Times office to be printed, and the first thing you know, another interesting Rocket is in your hands The Rocket Staff numbered over a hundred members this year The editors, who often found themselves up to their ears in work were Jermarne Folkman and Carol Manthei Some new things which added life to our paper this year were a short sketch of some well known student in Guess Who? form a contest every month for the best theme or essay written in school, and pictures were used a good deal After Christmas a meeting was held to give reporters new slants on ways to write more worthwhile articles that could better amuse and hold the interestof the reader All in all the Rocket Staff did a praise worthy Job LIBRARY CLUB B H S has these girls to thank for keeping the library in running order They were the ones who gate up their free periods for library work And they did much more than merely check books in and outl They accessioned new books placed magazines and newspapers at the student s disposal kept the shelves in order, and countless other behind the scene chores The best and newest feature of the library was the addition of more shelves and the reading tables in the study hall X1-tk FIRST ROW J Kamineckr S Nrschke N Sperberg J Schultz I Peterman, G Olson,M Herb R Kusta SECOND ROW N Nelson 1 Seering J Heuer, D Blom,J Boyer F Herb A Stern, Mr Rrenke Advisor THIRD ROW A Herb B Abel M Voorhees R Borowski M Mayer,J Boyer S Froelich M Leupke FOURTH ROW M Svetnxcka S Peterson M Ebert J Drage A Stuewer J Moede M Stuewer S Rusch 47 . .
