MIUSIICC Alt. SIENISZNVIICQDNS Z3 . T INCREDIBI. Music! It was on the streets, it was in our movies, it was in our elevators, and last year it was noticeable in Bonanza High School. Mr. Alan Lewis, conductor for the five excellent bands at B.H.S., stated, Students should be taught music in school. If they are not, they learn the wrong things about music and how to appreciate different types. Here at Bonanza we had five different bands: Jazz, Concert I, Concert II, Varsity, l Jazz Band Members: Larry Munoz, DeAnne Hill, Teri Bunker, John Barclay, Tom Trinter, Rayne Pilon. Second Row: Steve Grauberger, Mike Adams, Nova Sorensen. Standing: Becky Flimder, Mr. Alan Lewis, Cody Dangel, Dean Rodriguez, Steve Barclay, Ken Under- wood, Eyde Laramore, Chanda Sedgwick, Lynn Osmera. and Marching. Mr. Lewis ex- plained to his band students, Practice makes perfect, so practice! Practice! Practice!! We are going to be the BEST!!! Band student Tina Carter agreed with her conductor. I am always practicing, because if I do not, then I do not get any better. The bands played at a variety of activities and per- formed very well. Young and old alike really seemed to en- joy our Concert, Varsity, Marching, and Jazz Bands! l Marching Band performs at half-time. Musical Sensations 95
