A lfweaccaxcrilea of Music Last year exhibited a variety of musical talent at BHS. Among them were the choirs. The choir groups con- sisted of Girls glee, Concert Choir, and Male Chorus. Together, these groups blend- ed an array of harmonious music. Under the leadership of Mrs. Carol Eldfrick, choir took part in many activities, such as caroling, choral festivals, and competitions for ratings. Sttaxirtiiiiiree S?i7z7zNiimgQ l Stariire consists of: Terry Albitz, Shannon Dyeyo, Kristi Holdon, Scott Booth, Jeff Tidwell, Julie Clugston, Erik Denman, Tina Last year, as always, Stariire brightened up the school year and added that extra amount of enthusiasm to Bonanza. Under the leader- ship of Mrs. Carol Eidfrick, Starfire's advisor, Starfire displayed an array of musical talent and charisma. To become a part of Starfire or the Starfire band, students had to audition. Auditions were held at the end of every year to decide the following year's members. Students were required to sing a solo, harmonize with a melody of their choice, and dance in a small ensemble. To perform in Starfire, one must have a 2.0 average and must be taking Jackson, Fton McCord, Steve Ar- nold, Dianna Eden, Allyson Ericksen and Andi Morsicato. one other vocal musical class at Bonanza in addition to Starfire. There were 16 members, all of whom played an active part in the group. Starfire met daily during third period, and rehearsals were called on Monday nights from 7 -- 9 p.m. The purpose of the organization is to build self confidence, musical ability, and alleviate the fear of performing in front of an au- dience, stated Mrs. Eldfrick.
