cfs of at Wt For 10 years we have been able to enjoy Bonanza's Cheerleaders and remember their efforts with pride. This year was no different. No matter how the games progressed, our cheerleaders never faltered. They were very up and energetic, keeping our spirits high. The J.V. Squad consisted of 7 eager girls. Lead by Mindy Boyach, Head Cheerleader, they were Shel- ly Eager, Jennifer Judd, Lisa Kimball, Michelle Swarts, Tracy Traasdahl, and Lisa l At the Homecoming Assembly, J.V Cheerleaders raise the crowd's spirit Todd. We looked forward to hearing more from them. They worked tirelessly to attend every event including cheering for the freshman teams. From attending assemblies to mak- ing signs to Practice, Practice, Practice three times a week, this group reflected the true spirit of Bonanza High. Our thanks to Mrs. Alice Dallimore, Cheerleading Coorindator, who stated, These J.V. Cheerleaders are a highly skilled group of girls who showed true profes- sionalism in their cheering. it has been a pleasure to work with them. The Mascots This year was special for a special reason, the Mascots. They were a very special group of tumblers and acrobats who kept everyone going, even the cheerleaders. Their performances added ex- citement at the football games and assemblies. This energetic group of girls, Deon Beatty, Lori Ailen, and Tammy Jackson, flipped their way in- to a Bonanza tradition. That motto stuck with 15 young ladies who were the wrestlers' own cheerleading squad. Wrestlerettes gave morale, along with food and water, to the wrestlers dur- ing every match. They went to all games, home and away. Carrie Lewis and Casey LaNoue proudly stated, l'We loved being wrestlerettes. You got to watch the guys wrestle, and you knew inside that you helped!
