This club of many races did different pro- jects around our community during the year. For one pro- ject the group adopted three senior citizens to do different activities with, such as visiting them and remembering them on their birthdays, and letting them know someone cares about them. They have also helped them deal with being in a resthome. This club got more involv- ed this year in such national l Discussing racism in America, Mr. Munford and Mr. Coffin enjoy some soul food. celebrations as Black History week and Cinco De Mayo, which is when the Mexicans seceded from Spain. Mr. Carter also stated, All we want to do is change those who think of nationalities as sterotypesf' The President of this club was Gail Morrison, Vice President was Rebbeca Cuellar, SecretarylTreasurer was Danny DelaHuerta, Sergeant-at-Arms was Danny McCoy, and three at-large Board Members were Jamie Scott, Yollanda Turner, and Tina Thomas.
