Black History Week Black History which took place February 18-21, was celebrated to honor black Americans who have made significant contributions to our history. During the week, Love All People performed for both lunches and the Black History King and Queen were an- nounced. The King was Reg- gie White andthe Queen was Valerie Wesley. The week's activities culminated in a Black History Luncheon. The lun- cheon was sponsored by Human Relations Club the Foods Class prepared the meal. Black History Week served to recognize the heritage of all blacks in America. Mrs. Hopkins said, Continuing to share Black History Week with all groups would be great. lt's a I Miranda Harper, Rhonda McCord, Wadean Barnett, Mrs. Hopkins, Crystal Adams, Andrea Letbetter, and Mrs. Bell enjoy the Black History Luncheon. I Seniors Valerie Wesley and Reg gie White are named Black History Queen and King. I Colleen Cunningham, David Sweeney, Mrs. Bell, Mr. Hanna, Mrs. Chatman, and Mr. Carter eat.
