Bonanza campus was con- sidered an unauthorized smoking area for students. Administrative concerns that continued from previous years included maintenance of satisfactory grade point averages for students par- ticipating in sports and other extra-curricular activities, en- forcement of attendance and tardy Policies, meeting with the Parent Advisory Commit- tee to receive input from the community, and all the other responsibilities that keep Bonanza growing with pride. Last year we welcomed three new administrators and seven teachers on campus. The new Assistant Principal was Mrs. Judy Cameron, who was in charge of student activities, athletics, and various aspects of manage- ment, curriculum, and person- nel supervision. Before com- ing to Bonanza Mrs. Cameron taught at the high school level and was Assistant Principal at Hyde Park Junior High School, where she was also coordinator of school activities. Mrs. Cameron stated, I feel good about being at Bonanza - I've been excited since I started here because the students have pride in their school. Mrs. Cameron also said she was happy with the cooperation she received from teachers and staff, and she enjoyed her first year at B.H.S. She added, l'm impressed with the students. There's a lot we're going to do with the athletic program, and l'm look- ing forward to the next few years at Bonanza. We also had two new deans last year. Mr. Robert Chesto formerly was Dean at K.O. Knudson Junior High, and Mrs. Shauna Zobel came to Bonanza from Cashman Junior High. Mrs. Zobel stated, I really like it here! At first I was nervous about being at a high school, but I've learn- ed a lot and I loved my first year here!
