The Varsity team averaged seventy points per game, with leading scorers Mark Meade and Jeff Simister averaging fourteen points a game. Mark Meade averaged eleven or twelve re- bounds per game, and Jeff Simister led with assists. When Assistant Coach Mr. Harvey Munford was asked what he thought of the basket- ball team last year, he stated, We started off to a good start. We tried to keep our winning ways. Our goal was to go to State. Mark Meade stated, Support at games has been excellent. We hope to keep the support -- maybe we could return to the fans with the State trophy!
